Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri has been a popular Indian actress who achieved notoriety for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in the film Tezaab where she starred with an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir on Dil. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance when she was a child. In her early years, as she began acting as a young actress, most of the films she produced were not successful. She eventually found success and went on to become one of the most prominent actors on the Indian film business. She decided to take a break from her profession after her wedding before returning to the entertainment industry. Recently, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit won the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen she was nominated for. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to her. In addition, she has been recognized for her efforts in the social sector.
